Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia

Beautiful. Absolutely incredible. A Cathedral that was dedicated to God and deemed a basilica because of its size and artistry in 2010.  It was designed by Antoni Gaudi, who died in the twenties after it started being built. The inside is architecturally done, but the stained glass is not completed or the pinnacles/pillars  on the ouside.  It is projected to be done in 2030, and I plan on coming back to see it finished.  Gaudi designed it to look like a forest inside. The big pillars as tree trunks and the ceiling being the canopy.  Also, on the outside of the church as you look near the top, there are ceramic tiles that are slowly added to the structure.  About this pinnacle, before he died, Gaudi said, "Look at the top! Is it not true that it seems to unite heaven and earth? This burst of mosaics is the first thing sailors will see when approaching Barcelona; it will be a radiant welcome."
