Things I've learned about Vietnam so far (sorry, this was meant to be posted 2 weeks ago):
There are 200 million motos in Vietnam!
They have to wear helmets here. It doesn't matter the quality of the helmets, so they have really thin fashionable ones.
It is the Rice Bowl of the world. Vietnam produces the most rice in the world.. last year it was Thailand, this year it's Nam!
I was told people were going to hate us backpackers, and be mean to us, but everyone's been soo amazing and helpful!
As you go north here, the weather gets colder!!
People here, and all over southeast Asia, take all measures to cover their skin. It's crazy! I'll be walking down the street, sweating my ass off in a tank top and shorts, and a local will walk by in a sweatshirt, gloves, long pants, and socks.
There are pine trees here!!!!
The temperature is bearable!
& the people are wonderful... Don't let anyone tell you different.
